Hi,

The release party will start at 14h00 til 18h00
Location: CNF center (address below) inside the Institut de la
Francophonie pour l'informatique (aka IFI, Vi?n Tin h?c Ph?p ng?)

You can get self-burned live CD Ubuntu 10.10 Desktop, Alternate, Netbook
edition (i386 32-bits only) and also official Ubuntu 10.04 LTS live CDs

If you want help in testing and installing, please backup your essential
data first and preferably come early (14h00 til 16h00).

The official program by the Ubuntu Vietnam Loco Team starts at 16h00 til
18h00. It will be followed by a beer party from 18h00 til 20h00 (and
later?), presumably at the usual place (see posts about HanoiLUG Happy
Hours, earlier this month)

There was talk that perhaps once a week was a bit too often. I've been meaning to email the group to let everyone know that we should change it to once every two weeks. If there already is an event at CNF, is it too much to then have another social gathering afterwards?

The Ubuntu Release party is not to be confused with HanoiLUG Happy Hours
or HanoiLUG social gathering. These are different events. The first one
is according to the Ubuntu release cycle (every 6 months). The second
one depends on the readiness of Hanoilug members and could be every
week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, etc., or on demand...

Ubuntu Release party, when organized by Ubuntu Vietnam Local team is
usually followed by a more social (i.e. drinks and food and less
technique) party. Ubuntu VN usually have social gatherings every
saturday evenings.

All these events are open and free : who wants to come just come, who
couldn't just don't.
