Just an idea.
Anyway, I think Vietnamese (lang) should be encouraged in the list because
of the very simple reason: we are Vietnamese and this list, first of all,
should be for Vietnamese.

normally living in Hanoi for some time - interested in GNU/Linux (and
Free Open Source softwares).
Because we expect a majority of Hanoilug "members" to be Vietnamese, we
expect the bulk of posts will be in Vietnamese, but everyone is welcomed
to discuss and express ideas, be it in one of the three languages that
were accepted when the list was started back in 2005.
The issue of language was discussed in the past and there were ideas of
splitting the list into a sub-list using English and a sub-list using
Vietnamese only, thus to accommodate users only fluent (or wishing) in
one main language of the list. In that case, people could subscribe to
either of to both sub-lists according to their wishes. That might be a
solution if you think that the way the list is being used until now is
not satisfactory enough.
Keeping all users together has one advantage, however, of facilitating
exchange within different nationalities within the list.
However if several other users think it is better to have different
sub-lists according to the language to be used, then please expose your
views.
